SOLUTIONS / LASER SCANNING

3D laser scanning
of process plants, structures and tunnels

Do your process plant drawings match what is actually built? After years of modifications, repairs and new equipment, they almost never do. When an expansion is designed on outdated drawings, clashes show up during assembly, the most expensive moment to find them. With 3D laser scanning we capture the process plant as it stands today, with the level of detail your engineering needs.

The scanner captures; judgment decides what matters

A scanner records millions of points, but it doesn't know what the engineer who will design needs. We define with your team which areas, what level of detail and which deliverables are required, so the information arrives ready to use and not as an unmanageable file.

We work with RIEGL VZ series and FARO Focus series terrestrial laser scanners, and with the FJD Trion series handheld SLAM scanner for tunnels and tight spaces.

3D scanning of process plants

Most of our scans cover different parts of process plants, such as grinding mills and crushing buildings, before they are modified or expanded. We also scan conveyor belts, and at the port of Callao we have surveyed cranes and tanks.
